Position Summary:
The Department of Computational Applied Mathematics & Operations Research has an open Project Coordinator position. The role involves managing the daily operations of the research group of Professor Maarten de Hoop in the CMOR Department and supporting its members. Key responsibilities include drafting documents for presentations, grants, and reports, conducting research, making travel arrangements, and coordinating conferences and events. The position also handles financial tasks like processing transactions, managing budgets, preparing expense reports, and reconciling purchasing card statements. Additionally, it assists with fundraising, contract development, maintaining the group's calendar and website, and preparing various reports.

Workplace Requirements :
On campus position: This position is exclusively on-site, necessitating all duties to be performed in-person on Rice Campus. Per Rice policy 440 , work arrangements may be subject to change.
Hiring Range: $20.50 to $24.00
*Non-Exempt (hourly) positions under FLSA are eligible for overtime.
