Provides vision and direction as well as Supervises electronic resources, interlibrary loan, acquisitions, cataloging, and documents units for the library, and system administration for integrated library system (ILS). Performs cataloging services for the library and manages the Cataloging Department.
1. Serves as system administrator and vendor liaison for the ILS.
2. Supervises and manages the staff and workflow of the electronic resources, interlibrary loan, cataloging, government documents, cataloging and acquisitions units.
3. Compiles statistical and assessment data; prepares annual reports and annual budget requests for cataloging, and documents departments; oversees annual reports and budget requests for acquisitions, electronic resources and interlibrary loan.
4. Provides original and copy cataloging for all library collections and resources using RDA and MARC21 formats, LC subject headings, and the OCLC cataloging systems.
5. Responsible for the accuracy and accessibility of bibliographic and item level records.
6. Maintains database authority files based on Library of Congress authorities or local authority practice.
7. Responsible for collection management of government documents, which includes acquisition, cataloging, and disposal of government documents.
8. Serves as an active member of the library's reference team, providing reference services at the main reference desk.
9. Responsible for collection development in assigned subject areas and serves as liaison with selected academic departments.
10. Participates in professional and scholarly activity; serves on library and university committees.
11. Serves in the absence of the Senior Director, Libraries.
12. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in library and information science (MLIS) from a program accredited by the American Library Association, (5) years post-MLIS related experience, and (5) years supervisory experience
