Academic Support Success Coach (Finance)
1. Offers integrated career counseling, academic advising and educational support, as well as guides students on career paths and academic goals.
2. Utilizes tracking system to identify at-risk students, implement success strategies and connect students to relevant resources.
3. Monitors academic progress, provides interventions and conducts outreach to students on academic watch or leave of absence.
4. Maintains accurate records of counseling sessions, coaching activities, student progress, and workshop engagement.
5. Develops and leads workshops designed to support academic and executive functioning skills for medical students.
6. Assists with orientation programs, student success workshops, and resource creation to support academic and career development. 7. Collaborates with faculty and staff to design and implement programs that promote student success, retention, and engagement.
8. Remains abreast of best practices in academic advising and incorporates them into services while maintaining knowledge of institutional resources.
9. Performs additional job duties as assigned.
MQ: Education: Requires application of advanced principles, techniques and theory in a professional discipline or a thorough general business management knowledge. Knowledge of this level typically obtained through a directly job-related Master's degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience. Certification/Licensing: None.
