Role Description:
Arcadis' Water Management Practice is seeking an experienced Water Quality and Hydrodynamic Modeler to join our nationally recognized Water Resources team.
This role sits within our global business area of Resilience. Around the world, we are feeling the effects of climate change, rapid urbanization, and loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we are seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. We are here to steward and safeguard our natural environment and water resources while supporting and powering our world for the benefit of current and future generations.
Role Accountabilities:
In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, and stakeholders, to deliver innovative solutions for complex water management projects. You will also Conduct detailed analyses of hydrodynamic and water quality data to support environmental impact assessments, regulatory compliance, and water resources management. Additional responsibilities include:
Key Skills & Experience:
To excel in this role, you must have experience developing and applying water quality and hydrodynamic models such as EFDC, WASP, LSPC, sediment modeling, Delft3D-WAQ, CE-QUAL-W2, SWAT, and BASINS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in working with large datasets, including data analysis and statistical evaluations. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team, and strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $76,500 - $128,750. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
