What you'll do:
The VP of Employee Banking is responsible for providing employees with customized banking solutions, best-in-class customer service, and the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion by performing a broad range of activities, including new account sales, account and customer servicing, and referral generation. Requires outstanding presentation and communication skills. Travel between Wintrust locations may be necessary.
Create, lead, and execute an Employee Banking program that serves all employees, regardless of geography, at any stage of their employment with Wintrust
Promote Wintrust Employee Banking throughout different departments, channels, and resource groups by establishing and enhancing an employee banking presence around the bank
Create and maintain appropriate tracking of participation levels within the Employee Banking Program
Effectively create, lead, and execute the Employee Banking New Hire experience regardless of geography
Deepen banking relationships of existing employees and minimize attrition through effective consultative conversations and follow-up
Cross-sell products and services aligning with employee needs through effective consultative conversations
Perform tasks such as account and employee maintenance, and employee correspondence
Leverage internal partnerships with other lines of business including Mortgage, Consumer Lending, Wealth Management, Business/Commercial Banking, etc., to grow employee relationships beyond the retail bank via referrals
Work with internal departments including Employee Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, etc. to grow and maintain awareness of Employee Banking benefits
Work in conjunction with the Customer Contact Center to effectively establish and manage the level and range of service provided to employees by the Employee Service Center
Support the bank through participation in community and bank events as well as involvement in local organizations
Comply with all bank and regulatory policies and procedures to maintain security and mitigate preventable losses
Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion
Qualifications:
5-7 years of retail banking experience required
3-5 years in a supervisory/management role, preferably in a financial institution
Bachelor's degree preferred
Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
In-depth knowledge of all bank products and services
Thorough understanding of bank systems and operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide range of audiences, including senior executives
High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters with discretion
Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
May require NMLS certification

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $132,000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
