What You Need to Know
Genesis Products is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Anthon Industrial Panel Saw Operator for our wood processing manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our Anthon industrial panel saw, ensuring precise cutting of wood materials to meet production specifications and quality standards
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining the Anthon industrial panel saw
- Cutting wood panels and materials to specified dimensions with high accuracy
- Interpreting work orders, blueprints, and product drawings
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the panel saw
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards
- Collaborating with team members to meet production schedules
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 2+ years of experience operating industrial panel saws, preferably Anthon models
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cutting accuracy
- Knowledge of wood materials and woodworking processes
- Experience with CNC-operated equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer proficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking is preferred
