Transportation Specialist (Project Management)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive truck to and from specified destinations applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads; Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations and other paperwork as needed; Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions; Load and unload truck when necessary; Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water; Communicate with Maintenance Shop on Preventative Maintenance services Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as installing light bulbs and tire chains; Assist in keeping warehouse areas neat and clean.

PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS
Assist freezer/dock personnel as needed.
