The Social Foundations Program at the University of South Florida is seeking to fill a Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction position. This is a 9-month position effective - August 7, 2025.
DUTIES:
Primary responsibilities include teaching multiple sections of EDF 2005 Introduction to the Teaching Profession in both online and in-person formats. Teaching also includes preparing, monitoring, and evaluating students for their required 15-hour field observation. Additional responsibilities may include teaching other undergraduate and graduate social foundations courses, such as Schools and Society. Instructors are expected to teach four courses each semester, unless other duties are assigned. ABDs accepted but all degree requirements must be met by the start date: August 7, 2025.

The Social Foundations program is part of the Department of Educational and Psychological Studies which is home to six other programs: Educational Measurement and Research, Educational Psychology, Exercise Science, Instructional Technology, Interdisciplinary Education, and School Psychology, collectively committed to "Advancing rigorous inquiry and preparing highly qualified, culturally responsive professionals."
