Position Title: IT Senior Manager - Finance
Position Location: Florist Tower, 5757 N Green Bay Avenue, Glendale, WI 53209
Travel: 20% Domestic travel required.
Days / Hours: Mon – Fri / 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Summary of Duties: Operate the IT landscape, address risk and compliance, and enable new business capabilities, focusing on people, delivery, quality, cost and commercial. Collaborate with U.S. Finance organizations and leadership on key initiatives to support Finance Strategy. Shape demand for new IT capabilities to prioritize technology investments, deliver new capabilities via project delivery and management. Gather business requirements and work with business to achieve value realization. Define strategy to deploy business solutions that drive business Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Lead cross-functional teams experienced in critical business processes and enabling technologies. Provide business community relationship building, influencing, prioritizing, and solution, scoping to improve business processes, data quality, and current solution usage/leverage. Work with finance management and be a bridge between technology and reporting teams. Build business requirements, manage sequence, and deliver business intent and execution, following predetermined product strategy for offers. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and project sponsors to manage program/project scope, risks, and issues to gain consensus on projects. Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results. Stay current on customer needs and strategies, while identifying ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction. Identify and initiate projects, manage resources, and drive resolution of issues. Analyze and synthesize business requirements, while recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes. Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes, by conducting business and systems process analysis and design, at a complex level. Develop process improvements or re-engineer and recommend elimination.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related quantitative field of study and 10 years of progressive experience in IT, with 5 years of technical project management in ERP finance systems.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:
5 years of leadership experience with technical programs, teams and functions with direct or indirect reports; Developing and executing test plans; Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to include SAP and QAD; Financial and Accounting business processes and compliance standards; Four full life-cycle ERP projects and two global projects; Delivering IT projects or operational Six Sigma initiatives; Collaborating in team environments; Establish IT business partnership strategy with senior financial leaders; and Negotiating technology projects and facilitating cross functional project teams.
Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
