The Outpatient Coordinator is responsible for managing and supervising the department Outpatient Program. The primary job focus is to meet patient needs, to achieve the services goals and objectives, and to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. The Outpatient Coordinator provides in-service education and training for the service staff and other facility personnel on an ongoing basis.
The Outpatient Coordinator is responsible for providing Outpatient rehabilitative therapy to patients upon referral for physical functioning disorders and wound care following all regulatory and clinical practice requirements. This includes recovery, improvement in function and when possible, a return to prior level of functioning. Clinical documentation will describe objective measures and justification for continued or discontinued services.
