• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Education, Technical, Manufacturing, Communication, Supply Chain Management, or Office Administration.
• Intermediate skills/knowledge using Microsoft Office Programs; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of Master Scheduling experience or experience with Production Scheduling and Planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment promoting effective manufacture and distribution of goods in a timely manner.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Education, Technical, Manufacturing, Communication, Supply Chain Management, or Office Administration.
• APICS Certification CPIM.
Employee is required to execute the following:
Occasional bending, reaching, pushing and pulling when retrieving and moving various items.
Lifting intermittently of various items. Typically, assistance would be provided for weights exceeding 50 pounds.
Good manual dexterity to operate computer equipment and precision measuring instruments.
Oral communication via telephone or in person while interacting with customers, suppliers, or other employees.
Position may require more than eight hours daily and more than five days weekly to complete work assignments.
Sitting in chairs (swivel, padded, and adjustable).
Squatting / crouching when retrieving stored items from lower shelves and file cabinets, making equipment / product inspections, etc.
Standing intermittently.
Visual monitoring of computer screens.
Visual viewing of processing equipment, precision measuring instruments, prints, reports, manuals, procedures and an assortment of printed items.
Visual requirements for this position are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates, plans, schedules and supervises the input schedules to ensure optimal inputs in support of the plant's key performance targets. The Master Scheduler provides planning support including scheduling, performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, and resource management using capacity constraints balanced against customer demand. The position controls the efforts of the Production Planning team in support of the mission to optimize raw material work in process inventories, monitor the performance of raw material and wax suppliers, and drive production inputs to support deliveries which improve customer satisfaction. The Master Scheduler serves as the subject matter expert for all operational departments as the person aggregates total customer demand and capacity to author an effective supply plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Creates the sequence of planning processes and overall calendar of events focused on customer fulfillment, shop floor execution, and system optimization.
• Maintains data integrity of planning parameters.
• Establishes demand and planning time fences.
• Monitors and maintains the accuracy and integrity of the MPS input information including customer demand changes, shipment reconciliations, and forecasts.
• Tracks, monitors, and updates the key inputs required to produce an effective supply plan, such as changing yield rates, lead times, mold sizes, hanger sizes, shell constraints, alloy deliveries, and outsource supplier performance.
• Works directly with key customers on potential wax input changes and balancing to optimize the customer demand fulfillment outcome.
• Coordinates plant capacity, customer demands, and various strategic inventory targets to develop a level -loaded schedules to enhance on-time delivery performance and maximize revenue and margin.
• Implements and manages master production schedules.
• Manages wax input schedules including the on-time delivery of key raw materials required to produce wax patterns.
• Provides input schedules to Manufacturing and provides guidance on capacity requirements and inputs to model the labor needs required for the achievement of supply plans.
• Calculate/Monitor/Report overdue wax molds based on customer requirement.
• Establish/Monitor Buffer Stock Plan by customer based on Management established target levels.
• Coordinates the compilation of Monthly Forecasting Activities between Production Controllers, Sales, Manufacturing Managers, and Accounting.
• Supplies Manufacturing Managers with forecast information as required, prepares final forecast files and supplies information to Accounting.
• Calculates and communicates monthly NFI information to Accounting. Responsible for completing ASAT questions and testing pertaining to Production Planning.
• Business Process Owner for Production Planning, Supply Chain Activities, and On Time Delivery Performance Applications in Oracle as well as Business Process Owner for MRP and Master Ship Plan.
• SPA for Annual Physical Inventory. Coordinates physical inventory preparation, assists during the physical inventory, and prepares and publishes physical inventory summary reports.
• Manages the day-to-day activities of the Alloy Procurement and Material Planners.
• Manages the activities related to the timely processing and shipment of revert materials.
• Ensures the timely ordering of SLA patterns from outsource suppliers.
• Reviews material shortages, stock outages, Kan Ban sizes and safety stock levels while working with Suppliers.
• Maintains linkage between non-recurring product development projects efforts and MPS requirements
• Actively participates in Sales & Operations Planning, helping to set priorities when demand outstrips capacity
• Manages the activities of the Shipping Department including the Shipping Technicians to ensure the timely and accurate shipment of goods to fulfill customer orders
