Essity is seeking an E-Commerce leader to define and implement our Amazon U.S. strategy, establishing the Health & Medical (HM) business unit as a market leader on this rapidly growing platform. This role is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive growth, profitability, and best-in-class execution on Amazon U.S.
The ideal candidate should live in Philadelphia, PA or Charlotte, NC.

Strategic Leadership & Planning: Develop and implement a long-term Amazon U.S. strategy for the Health & Medical category. Create growth and profitability plans aligned with market conditions, consumer trends, financial targets, and brand objectives. Identify and lead Category Management initiatives to win in the Amazon channel.
Best-in-Class Amazon Execution: Establish and share best practices across key areas such as product assortment, merchandising, promotions, and pricing strategies. Collaborate with Consumer and Shopper Insight teams to translate insights into actionable Amazon execution plans. Ensure consistent high-quality digital shelf execution and media-attributed sales in partnership with the E-commerce Media & Content Team.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key Amazon stakeholders, including Vendor Managers. Work closely with cross-functional teams—U.S. Sales, Brand Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service, Finance, and Business Logistics—to ensure strategic alignment and seamless communication with Amazon.
Business Development & Opportunity Identification: Drive competitive advantage by developing and executing promotional and below-the-line (BTL) marketing activities on Amazon. Proactively identify and prioritize new business opportunities with Amazon to ensure sustained growth. Ensure clear product availability planning and manage operational execution to maximize performance.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to execute the Amazon strategy. Provide strategic guidance, foster best-practice sharing, and contribute to the development of Amazon expertise across the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
5+ years of experience in e-commerce, specifically Amazon.
Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in the Amazon channel.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership experience with a focus on team development and mentorship.
