Job Summary:
Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Analyst to support our fast growing organization located in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate needs to be a technical/business professional with analytical and planning experience in operations, inventory control, sales interactions and/or related field. The Business Analyst's primary responsibility is to perform business data analysis and associated actions in improving business operations processes, inventory management, department inventory related expenses in support of the company's growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
• Collect and analyze operations data by using SAP and internal inventory control systems and dashboards to develop reports and recommendations for management decision
• Oversee and collaborate on related processes to ensure proper inventory and asset controls are in place and operating effectively
• Analyze the inventory trends by material group and assist to drive the improvement plans as working with the related functional groups to deplete/minimize the slow-moving and excessive/obsolete inventory
• Establish the partnership and collaborate with material stakeholders including but not limited to Product Management and Purchasing team.
• Achieve internal audit operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; draft and enforce policies and procedures; resolve issues; and determine system improvement steps.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Operations, Accounting, Finance, Economicsor Business related field; Masters degrees highly preferred but not required
• Minimum 3 years of working related experience
• Working level knowledge of Enterprise computing server, storage systems, networking hardware, or system software
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills to work well with all levels within the organization
• Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Effective project or program management skills to plan, monitor and execute various initiatives
• Excellent verbal communication and technical writing
• Advanced level in Excel and Power Point
Salary Range
$70,000 - $100,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
