The Administrator II leads and manages program operations, ensuring services align with the organizations mission and values, and that all regulatory requirements are met. This position involves overseeing staff, budgeting, program design, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. The Administrator is responsible for compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and guidelines, including Community Care Licensing Title 22 and Department of Developmental Services Title 17.
How will I contribute
Set goals and align program operations with the organizations mission and values. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and emergency protocols. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety protocols and accident prevention measures. Collaborate with Human Resources to address staffing needs, including hiring, scheduling, leaves of absence, workers compensation matters, performance monitoring, and evaluations. Supervise the hiring of qualified staff and ensure ongoing training in quality care. Manage timecard processing and assist staff with the timekeeping system, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of timesheets. Improve program quality and efficiency through staff training and operational adjustments on an ongoing basis. Foster teamwork through clear communication of duties, expectations, and company and programmatic updates. Supervise staff performance and ensure proper coverage and staffing ratios. Engage in outreach and marketing program services to increase community participation in programs. Assist in implementing fiscally responsible program infrastructure and monitor financial health to ensure sustainability. Contribute to budget development and monitor expenditures to stay within budget. Ensure the implementation and compliance with purchase of service (POS) billing practices. Participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning, and quality assurance reviews. Serve as a liaison between individuals served, staff, agencies, community partners, oversight agencies, and client families, fostering positive engagement, problem solving, and feedback through satisfaction surveys. Make informed decisions to resolve operational and client issues while maintaining compliance with laws and policies. Maintain continuing education and qualifications for the Administrator role, ensuring regulatory compliance. Assist in overseeing program services, supporting staff preparedness and ensuring quality client care, and providing direct care as needed. Oversee client admissions, ensuring successful placements and fostering attendance that aligns with key targets. Provide case management support for staff, ensuring person-centered goals are met. Support clients in making and communicating their choices and ensure respectful person-centered care. Review quality and compliance data to ensure Person-Centered Services are properly implemented. Participate in and lead components of the development and implementation of program designs as opportunities arise.Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation and success of the program.
What I bring
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field
Class C Driver's LicenseAdult First Aid and CPR3 years of experience in a human services delivery system, including at least one year in a management or supervisory position. Proven ability to manage program operations, staff, and client services effectively. Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Work or comparable quantitative field or equivalent related work experience.Thorough understanding of Community Care Licensing: Title 22, Department of Developmental Services: Title 17 and federal Home and Community Based Servies (HCBS) rules and regulations. Knowledge of emergency health and safety compliance protocols and regulations as set forth by public health authorities.Communicate clearly and promptly in writing and speech. Follow and convey written and verbal instructions effectively. Present information in a clear, accurate, and understandable manner. Listen actively, ask clarifying questions, and respond appropriately. Produce accurate written work on time and in a usable format.Demonstrates the physical and mental resilience necessary to work with clients who may be potentially dangerous to themselves or others, in line with the Companys Physical and Mental Fitness standards. Capable of passing health screening examinations, including physical, drug, and TB tests. Meets all state personnel licensing requirements. Willingness to work in a culturally integrated workplace and respect for diversity, including differences in race, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, place of origin, skin color, and other distinguishing characteristics. Commitment to providing high-quality care and support in a culturally diverse environment.College degree preferred. Care and supervision of clients in a licensed adult day program, or an adult day health care facility. Supervision of direct support professionals.
