Software Engineering Advisors-Hybrid (Finance)
Responsibilities-
• Provide expert professional leadership on complex engineering and information technology assignments and projects;
• Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering to design and implementation, to ensuring business needs are being addressed;
• Work with senior staff to define standards, patterns, and frameworks to deliver the initiatives;
• Provide thought leadership within Information Management while working on broader projects that require understanding of wider business;
• Participate in process improvement and cross-departmental IT initiatives;
• Participate in the delivery of definitive enterprise information environment that enable strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via analytics and reporting;
• Exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives; and
• Support production research and resolution recommendations;
• Partial work from home benefit available.
• ~15% domestic travel to other company sites required.
Qualifications-
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computers or engineering;
• 5 years of experience in a related occupation;
• Experience using Front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, JQuery);
• Experience in database, web servers and UI/UX design;
• Experience with Docker;
• Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub, TFS;
• Experience with Architectural Patterns and Development Best Practices;
• Experience with Unit Testing, Test Driven Development and use of mocking frameworks;
• Experience with Angular 5+, .net Core;
• Experience building in Event Driven Architecture; and
• Experience working in Agile SDLC.
