Weekend Housekeeper (Media)

Shift: Weekend housekeeper 7:30a - 4:00p $16.00 per hour


SUMMARY: Assists Environmental Services Director in maintaining a clean and orderly building, and performing day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department.

Job Responsibilities:

Keep the facility clean and sanitary by regularly cleaning furniture, floors, walls, windows, doors, and other surfaces.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, restock supplies, and handle trash disposal.
Perform emergency cleaning when needed (spills, broken furniture, slick surfaces).
Prepare rooms for new residents and assist with facility upkeep.
Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and supply needs to the supervisor.
Use cleaning materials and equipment properly and safely.
Document cleaning activities and any safety concerns.
Assist with inspections and follow facility policies and legal requirements.
Participate in training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of cleaning procedures.
Follow all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, climb, and perform other housekeeping tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Meets state and federal requirements.
