ACCOUNTING CLERK (Finance)
We are seeking a detailed-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, providing essential support for client statement backups, and assisting with recordkeeping tasks in the accounting department related to commuter benefits and other tasks assigned by the team leader.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Financial Records Maintenance: Save and organize backups for client statement support.
•Data Entry. Accurately input data related to supply and maintenance invoices. Verify the accuracy of the invoices.
•Clerical Support: Assist with filling, scanning, and organizing accounting-related documents. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial records. Prepare and distribute reports as directed.
•Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team to ensure seamless operations. Perform other clerical duties as assigned to support departmental needs.
Minimum Job Qualifications
•Highschool diploma or equivalent.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to identify and resolve problems
•Ability to lead a project using own initiative and working as part of a team

Qualifications Desired
•Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize work and manage time
•Coursework in accounting or related field is a plus.
•Familiarity with financial records and invoice processing is a plus.
•Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role preferred.
