General Purpose of Job
This position provides a wide variety of both complex and routine services; is a resource on human resources matters, provides guidance, assistance and support to management and supervisory personnel. Daily job duties range from complex to routine and include consulting with managers concerning individual employees or groups; identifying and resolving employee-related matters; and guidance on staffing. Additional responsibilities may involve developing and implementing procedures, performance reviews, all facets of recruiting, new hire onboarding and orientation, training programs, compensation and benefits planning and conducting employment and exit interviews.

Requirements
Education
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Major: Human Resources, Business or Public Administration, or a related field Preferred Other Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification
Experience
Minimum Three (3) of recent and ongoing Human Resources experience. Preferred Five (5) years of Human Resources experience. Preferred Experience with an HRIS database. Preferred Experience or similar work with an electric utility or related industry.
Education and/or Experience Notes
Any similar combination of education and job related experience, preferably in a human resources department.
