Senior Technology Systems Designer - Building Engineering (Finance)

We are looking for a Senior Technology Systems Designer to join our Building Engineering team!
Responsibilities:
Maintain a high level of communication with other architects and other disciplines for coordination and setup requirements.
Maintain process efficiencies by following company standards for REVIT procedures.
Assist in the development of technology design scope.
Assist with design of technology components or systems.
Develop redlines and convey system requirements to be completed by others on the project team.
Assist in producing contract documents including drawings, legends, infrastructure details, single line diagrams, enlarged plans, elevations, and sections for sound technology design practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria.
Develop div 27 specifications for projects containing audio visual systems.
Increase quality by the regular review of equipment lists comparing to system single line diagrams.
Build greater knowledge base by attending manufacturer and vendor events.
Review shop drawings in comparison to design documents and provide initial review with comments.
Create narrative documents for addenda or other communications as directed by a member of the design team.
Develop detailed AV Needs Assessment Surveys and final project reports.
Develop Technology Master Plans (TMP) based on client standards or extracting through meetings and interviews. TMPs will include all applicable technologies for a project as it pertains to all structured cabling, security, and audio visual systems.
Conduct technology programming meetings to develop early project scope requirements and to assist in preparing narratives, TMPs, and bid documents.
Prepare addendas, ASIs, CCDs, and other submissions during the construction phase when providing changes to the construction team.
Research codes, standards, equipment and construction methods.
Assist in determining, analyzing and interpreting clients' needs and requirements.
Collaborate with others to identify, define, and solve design issues.
Implement technology system types and provide complete construction documents that match the client and project team's requirements.
Assist in conducting a final review of the design drawings and be involved the quality control off team review when needed.
Attend project meetings or internal team meetings, as requested.
Assist in developing proposals for internal and external requests.
Assist in mktg material development for the technology team.
Attend presentations in project pursuits and assist in internal company marketing with other markets.
Assist in developing audio visual design standards and documentation.
Qualifications/Education/Certifications:
High school diploma but prefer an Associate's degree in Applied Science/ Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design Degree, or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of audio visual systems. Additional expertise with structured cabling and security systems are desired.
Some AutoCAD and/or REVIT experience is desired but not required.
Certifications, desired but not required, include: Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Certified Technology Specialist - Design (CTS-D), and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous design and detailing experience using REVIT, preferred. AutoCAD is desired as well.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with focus in Word and Excel
Experience with PDF software, Bluebeam or equivalent
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently or collaborate with others
High level of communication skills both written and verbal
