- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Quality or Process/Product Engineering role within a manufacturing
environment.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Materials Science from an accredited institution.
- 10 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in Aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge and experience working with Quality systems and specifications.
- AS9100/AS13100/AMS2750 specification experience is desired.
- Experience in blueprint/drawing interpretation, GD&T, First Article Inspection.
- Lean Six-Sigma training/certification desired.Under the direction of the Quality Lead, the incumbent will provide support to operational areas to improve processes as well as ownership of customer product lines to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements. Howmet Aerospace - Savannah Operations manufactures critical rotating components for jet engines made from advanced alloys and operational process to include forging, heat treatment, and machining.
