iTech AG is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support a federal government program's planning and operations. This role requires both deep analytical capabilities and strong executive communication skills to drive financial planning and program success.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead financial analysis and reporting for federal program spending, including spend plan development, business case analysis, and invoice reconciliation.
Provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting for a $60M annual federal program.
Work closely with senior management to ensure optimal economic performance and compliance.
Develop and present executive-level financial presentations and reports to senior management, highlighting program financial status, trends, and recommendations.
Maintain and enhance financial tracking systems to ensure accurate monitoring of program expenditures and budget utilization.
Analyze variances between planned and actual costs, providing detailed explanations and corrective action recommendations.
Partner with program managers to develop cost justifications and financial forecasts for program initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Monitor key financial metrics and create regular status reports for stakeholder review.
Support budget planning and forecasting processes for program activities.
Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, with at least 3 years supporting government contracts.
Demonstrated experience with federal government financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
Strong understanding of financial tracking systems and database management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Superior written and verbal communication abilities, with experience presenting to executive audiences.
Proven track record of managing complex financial data and producing actionable insights.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or similar)
Experience with federal government accounting systems
Demonstrated experience with federal government financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with financial database management
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
Active IRS MBI
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Active Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an IRS MBI.
