Receives written and oral work instructions from Supervisor and communicates instructions to employees in his/her work area
Assigns duties and instructs other employees on work and safety procedures per Shift Supervisor's instructions
Troubleshoots and identifies causes of any machine downtime problems within the department with limited supervision
Consults with Shift Supervisor on major machine center problems and recommends solutions to improve efficiency and limit future downtime by turning in weekly maintenance list to supervisor
Must be able to perform all positions within the department
Assists and trains employees in performing duties
Checks glue spreads every hour to ensure proper spread is being met set forth by shift supervisor
Knifes panels every hour to ensure proper glue bond
Ensures that proper panel constructions are being put on line to ensure panel quality
Ensures that patches are cut and on line for core layers
Follows company policies/procedures and safety rules
