Job Description:
Northern Trust is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Implementation Lead to join the Strategic Spending and Productivity team within Information Technology. This role will be pivotal in helping drive initiatives focused on productivity and efficiency that will help us optimize our Technology costs while ensuring the business needs are met.
Responsibilities:
This position is focused on large scale initiatives with a high degree of complexity that impacts all lines of business within Information Technology. This position leverages deep functional and business expertise to work on large-scale enterprise-wide initiatives. These projects involve review of existing and future technology needs, business process redesigns, and operating model reviews. This position will help ensure that the costs of various investments and technology alternatives are understood, opportunities are identified and initiatives are in place to help optimize our costs and capabilities over time. Key initiatives will likely include work on Technology's on-prem and cloud roadmaps and application / technology rationalization efforts.
Major Duties:
Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise Focus of role is on execution of key productivity and efficiency initiatives to help Information Technology deliver accelerated productivity savings and efficiency. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with multiple technology teams to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity Manages implementation of complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues Communication of program objectives; risk; issues and overall status to multiple levels of the organization Facilitation of cross discipline (business unit) coordination for decision making regarding scope; prioritization and issue resolution.
Knowledge:
Experience:
A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required. Related Industry qualification is preferred.
Salary Range:
$137,400 - 240,400 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
