Purpose and Scope of Job: Primarily responsible for DC and FTZ administrative support as well as ensuring compliance of international and domestic transportation transactions to facilitate trade, shipping and/or receiving products. Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned): Gather shipping documents for the timely presentation to Customs and for record retention. Schedule, track and maintain shipment timetable and ensure timely deliveries. Select and issue delivery orders and follow up on appointments and collect PODs, Issue export documentation to carriers. Code and audit supply chain invoices to ensure accurate on time payment per agreements. Dispute and resolve freight billing errors Maintain Certificates of Origin Perform data audits, internal audits, and vendor invoice audits. Data reporting, analysis, and guided ongoing implementation of improvement strategies Data entry of commercial invoice into system. Support a range of Customs related functions including: ISF submission Arrival Notice Receipt Issuance of PTTs FTZ admissions IT moves Weekly Estimates and Entries Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Management, or equivalent experience. A minimum of two (2) years experience in logistics, importation, FTZ, or supply management. Knowledge of import/export processes and supply chain management. High level of organizational, written, and oral communication skills Quick learner, self-motivated, pro-active Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Any additional essential skills and/or knowledge as shown in the HRIS Career & Education > Skills section for incumbents holding this job title.
