Manufacturing Buyer - Purchasing (Finance)

• Identifying the material needs of the organization
• Placing orders with suppliers
• ensuring timely delivery of materials
• Returning non-conforming materials
• Resolving invoice discrepancies
• Identifying and resolving key shortages or excess inventory

• Must have experience using a computer based materials resource planning and/or enterprise resource planning system such as Oracle.
• Proficient Microsoft Office-Excel and Word
• 1-3 years purchasing or buying experience in manufacturing environment
