ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SUPERVISOR (Finance)

KENT® Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our dynamic Finance team. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor oversees and directs all aspects of the Company's shared service Accounts Receivable function. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will lead the organization's overall shared service accounts receivable strategy and assist with other accounting functions as directed.
- This position is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, IA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will manage the 5 A/R team members
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee routine department activities such as customer invoice processing and short payment clearing
- Oversee timely generation of customer invoice processing and resolution of customer issues
- Responsible for accurate maintenance of customer master data
- Lead and contribute to subsidiaries month-end close
- Ensure compliance to GAAP regulations related to accruals
- Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations, i.e. RINS reporting, use tax reporting
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated skills in Excel including pivot tables
- Demonstrated abilities in analysis and business decision making
