The Sr. Security Engineer empowers business leaders to continue to grow our business securely and our clients to achieve financial wellbeing with confidence. We are a cloud enterprise, with critical services delivered in hybrid cloud environments and emerging cloud-based data warehouse. This role will engage with leaders and colleagues across the enterprise. The incumbent will ensure the highest standard of security for Inspira Financial products and our clients. This role will lead collaborations across various teams to develop, design and execute security priorities that directly impact all of Inspira Financial client facing platforms. The incumbent will research, recommend, and deploy new services and solutions.
Develop a strong knowledge and skillset across all security functional areas including application security, technical project management, third party risk, policy governance, awareness training.
Serve as a subject matter expert that contributes directly to the development of Inspira's IAM strategy, policy, standards, and procedures.
Collaborate with various business areas and teams to evaluate IAM strategies to improve security posture and enhance protection of sensitive data, evaluate potential compliance areas to identify gaps, and ensure full compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
Plan, develop, implement, and maintain a digital identity program to support the protection of Inspira while satisfying compliance and contractual requirements.
Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of robust identity and access solutions including tools to support onboarding, offboarding, user provisioning, deprovisioning, single sign on, federated identities, multi-factor authentication, and privileged account management solutions.
Define or augment access control protocols and establish role-based access control mechanisms to maintain a strategy of least privilege.
Manage and mature processes for recertification of user access.
Develop and maintain key vendor and other partner relationships to support the identity program.
Define metrics and develop reporting on the efficacy of access controls.
Assist and coordinate cross-functional work with other internal business units, such as Compliance, Legal, IT, Finance, HR, and engage with other leaders to drive security outcomes that benefit the organization.
