Position Summary
The BSA Officer Investigations Team Supervisor is responsible for assisting and supporting the Vice President BSA Investigations Manager with day-to-day operation of the Investigations Unit. The BSA Officer has high working knowledge of BSA/AML/USAPA/OFAC regulations and overall knowledge of banking products and services. Drives efficient processes to identify suspicious activity effectively and efficiently with the highest standards for quality.
What You'll Do
Assist the BSA Investigations Manager in the daily responsibilities of managing the Investigations Team.
Responsible for coaching and guidance of Investigators, manage more complex reviews, and maintain accurate procedures that meet Compliance goals and regulatory expectations.
Responsible to maintain KRIs and KPIs and recommend improvements to become more effective and efficient in meeting regulatory expectations. Lead quality control and oversight of the Investigation Team.
Manage and coordinate the investigation/SAR escalation and resolution process with the BSA Officers, Investigators, and lines of business.
Provide guidance and support to business lines, corporate units and compliance officers.
Participate and opine on special projects and initiatives, as needed. This includes determining impact to suspicious activity monitoring, development of procedures and workflows, and team training.
Qualifications
7-10 years BSA and Banking experience and seen as a leader in BSA/AML by peers.
Working knowledge of various laws, regulations, and guidance as it relates to BSA, AML, and OFAC.
CAMS certified, or in the process of obtaining CAMS certification; or other BSA/Fraud related certification preferred.
Strong communication, problem solving, training, and time management skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and subject matter expertise.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
