Clinical Assistant Professor - Nursing (Finance)

Faculty responsibilities include: ongoing curriculum development and evaluation; classroom and clinical instruction in the undergraduate and graduate programs using on-site, simulation, on-line, and distance education strategies; some travel; participation in college and university committees; engaging in scholarship, service and academic advising. A candidate's ability to teach a variety of upper level undergraduate and graduate specialty areas is a plus.

Qualifications:
1. Doctorate in nursing or related field required.
2. Master's degree in nursing from a professionally accredited school of nursing if the doctorate is not in nursing.
3. National certification in clinical specialty area required.
4. Candidate must possess unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Texas.
5. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required. Medical Surgical is a plus.
6. Excellent clinical and communication skills.
7. Minimum 2 years teaching experience required. Medical Surgical is a plus.
8. Published in peer reviewed articles.
